Keputusan ekonomi rumahtangga pekerja wanita industri kecil kain tenun ikat di kelurahan bandar kidul, kota kediri

Abstract

Sektor industri memegang peranan strategis dalam upaya mencapai sasaran pembangunan ekonomi. Hal ini dikarenakan sektor industri memberikan kontribusi terhadap pembentukan Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) sangat besar serta dapat membuka peluang dalam memperluas lapangan pekerjaan (Kementerian Perindustrian 2013). Salah satu penyumbang PDB sektor industri adalah sektor industri kecil yang merupakan subsektor industri nonmigas. Salah satu industri kecil yang memberikan peluang dalam memperluas lapangan kerja adalah industri kecil kain tenun ikat di Kelurahan Bandar Kidul, Kota Kediri. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk: (1) menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan rumahtangga pekerja wanita industri kecil kain tenun ikat dan (2) menganalisis dampak perubahan faktor eksternal dan internal rumahtangga pekerja wanita industri kecil kain tenun ikat terhadap keputusan ekonomi rumahtangga di Kelurahan Bandar Kidul, Kota Kediri. Penelitian menggunakan data cross section dengan sampel rumahtangga pekerja wanita industri kecil kain tenun ikat tahun 2014. Model Ekonomi Rumahtangga pekerja wanita industri kain tenun ikat dibangun sebagai suatu sistem persamaan simultan dan diestimasi menggunakan metode Two Stage Least Squares (2SLS). Pada pekerja wanita industri kain tenun ikat peningkatan upah pekerja dalam industri (66 persen) merupakan simulasi terbaik dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan rumahtangga pekerja.

Industry sector hold a strategic role in order to reach the target of the economic development. This was because industry sector gave a big contribution in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) establishment and opened the big opportunity in the jobs access (Industry Ministry of Indonesia, 2013). One of GDP contributors in industry sector was the small industry sector which is non oil and gas industry sub sector. One of the small industries sector that was gave an opportunity in opening the job access was Tenun Ikat fabric industry in Bandar Kidul village, Kota Kediri. The aims of this research were (1) analyze the factors that influenced the Tenun Ikat fabric female worker household decision and (2) analyze the impact of external and internal factors on female worker household decision in Bandar Kidul village, Kota Kediri. This research was used cross section data with Tenun Ikat fabric female worker household in 2014 as the sample. The Economic Household Model of Tenun Ikat fabric female worker was built as one of simultaneously system and estimated by Two Stage Least Squares (2SLS) method. The result wa s in Tenun Ikat fabric female worker in industry (66 percent) was the best simulation in increasing the female worker household welfare.
