      Model persamaan struktural evaluasi diri sekolah (studi kasus: smp provinsi jawa barat tahun 2013)

      Abstract
      Provinsi Jawa Barat menempati posisi teratas dalam hal jumlah sekolah yang terakreditasi pada periode tahun 2007-2012 untuk jenjang pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Untuk terus meningkatkan jumlah sekolah yang terakreditasi upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah pelaksanaan Evaluasi Diri Sekolah (EDS). Tindaklanjut dari EDS memberikan efek positif terhadap akreditasi sekolah. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam EDS tidak dapat diukur secara langsung (peubah laten), sehingga analisis statistika yang digunakan adalah model persamaan struktural. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memperoleh model persamaan struktural yang dapat menggambarkan hubungan antar Standar Nasional Pendidikan (peubah laten) serta dengan peubah indikatornya. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data hasil EDS SMP Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2013. Model persamaan struktural menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh paling besar diberikan oleh perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan kegiatan pendidikan (Standar Pengelolaan) terhadap kinerja pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan (Standar Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan). Tinggi rendahnya kompetensi siswa dan lulusan (Standar Kompetensi Lulusan) dipengaruhi paling besar oleh kesesuaian materi ajar yang digunakan sekolah dengan kurikulum yang ditetapkan (Standar Isi). Terdapat satu hubungan yang tidak berpengaruh nyata yaitu antara Standar Penilaian dengan Standar Kompetensi Lulusan. Semua peubah indikator sudah sah dan handal dalam mengukur peubah latennya setelah modifikasi.
       
      West Java Province has the most accredited junior high school in 2007-2012. To increase the number of school accredited, it need some efforts. The effort that can be done is carry out a School Self Evaluation which can bring positive effect to school accreditation. Instrument that can be used on School Self Evaluation can not be measured directly (latent variable), so the statistics analysis that used on this research was structural equation model. The objective of this research were to get structural equation model that can describe the connection within National Education Standards (latent variable) and National Education Standards (latent variable) with manifest variable. The data used on this research was the result of School Self Evaluation from West Java Province in 2013. Structural equation model showed that planning, implementation, and supervising on educational activity (Standard of the management) gave the most significant influence toward educators and educational personnel (Standard of the Educational Personnel). The level of competency of the students and graduates (Standard of the Graduate Outcomes) got the most influence from suitability of teaching materials and curriculum (Standard of the Content) that the school used. The connection between Standard of the Educational Assessment with Standard of the Graduate Outcomes was not significant. All of manifest variables that used on this research was valid and reliable to measure latent variable after modification.
