Analisis karakteristik tipologi pemilih pada pemilihan umum legislatif di Kota Bogor

Abstract

Kepercayaan pemilih terhadap institusi politik saat ini semakin berkurang begitu juga dengan angka partisipasi pemilih dalam pemilu dari tahun ke tahun. Kepercayaan dan partisipasi politik adalah dasar pembagian tipe pemilih menjadi 4 tipe yaitu setia, teralienasi, naif dan apatis. Kepercayaan dan partisipasi yang semakin menurun cenderung membuat pemilih menjadi tipe teralienasi, naif dan apatis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membagi pemilih di Kota Bogor menjadi empat tipe pemilih dan mengkaji karakteristik dari masing-masing tipologi pemilih. Untuk mengkaji karakteristik dari masing-masing tipe pemilih peneliti mengunakan analisis regresi logistik multinomial. Secara umum hasil dari penelitian ini ada lima dari sembilan peubah bebas yang berpengaruh terhadap tipologi pemilih. Peubah bebas yang berpengaruh nyata terhadap tipologi pemilih adalah jenjang pendidikan, intensitas diskusi politik, intensitas mengikuti berita politik, evaluasi pemilih terhadap ekonomi dan evaluasi pemilih terhadap kinerja pemerintah.

Voter confidence in the current political institutions as well as the diminishing voter participation rates from year to year. Trust and political participation is a basic division of types into 4 types of voters loyal, alienated, naive and apathetic. Diminishing of trust and participation tends to make voters become alienated type, naive and apathetic. This study aims to divide voters in the city of Bogor into four types of voters and examine the characteristics of each typology of voters. To examine the characteristics of each type of voter researchers using multinomial logistic regression analysis. In general, the results of this study there are five of the nine independent variables that influence the voters typology. Independent variables that significantly affect the typology of voters are education level, the intensity of the political debate, the intensity of watching politic news, evaluation of voters on the economy and evaluation of voters on the performance of government.
