dc.description.abstractFree trade agreements is growing and increasing in number. One of the free trade agreement signed by Indonesia is AFTA (ASEAN Free Trade Area). AFTA is performed by all members of the ASEAN countries and ACFTA (ASEAN-China Free Trade Area) that is performed by all ASEAN countries with China. The purposes of this study are to describing the live fish trade among ACFTA members, analyzing the competitiveness of Indonesian live fish to the ACFTA members and analyze the impact of ACFTA on trade creation and diversion Indonesian live fish. The used methods are RCA (Revealed Comparative Advantages) and Panel Data. The data used are annual time series data between 1996 to 2012, as well as a cross section of 13 countries (4 ASEAN countries, China and 8 countries non members of ACFTA). The results of this study indicate that competitiveness of Indonesian live fish at ACFTA countries member (Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and China) is competitive and the impact that this is caused by the ACFTA are trade creation in terms of import and trade diversion in terms of exports.en
