dc.description.abstractThe most prominent problems in economic development in Indonesia is a spike in the unemployment rate. The purpose of the study was to describe the condition of local economic governance (TKED) districts and cities in Indonesia, and analyze the effect on the unemployment rate TKED. Analysis of data using multiple regression analysis. The results stated that of the seven indicators TKED, capacity index values integrity of regional heads and local government interaction with business players better in Eastern Indonesia, while the other five indicators has an index value better in western Indonesia. Variable investment, capital expenditures, and significant TKED effect of reducing the unemployment rate. Counties and cities recommended to improve TKED indicators are the lowest in the region Banten, Jambi, Central Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, North Maluku, NTB, and Southeast Sulawesi.en
