| dc.description.abstract | Implementation of regional develompment in Banten Province hasn’t been optimal because the high number of unemployment and increasing of number of poor people.Government needs to do an integrated planning to expand some sectors,which are able to drive economic region. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the leading sectors of Banten Province. The method of this research is Input-Output table analysis of Banten Province at producer domestic prices in 2010, the classification of 58 sectors aggregated into 9 sectors. Result of the research showed leading sectors in Banten Province are manufacturing industry sector, trade, hotel, and restaurant sector, and transport and communication sector. Sub-sectors that are able to support them are food, beverages, and tobacco industry sector, papper and printing products industry sector, computers, electronics, optics, and electrical equipment industry sector, wholesale, retail trade, and repair of motor vehicles sector, road transport sector and air transport sector.Agriculture sector has a potential as basic sector to increase economic growth and domestic income in South Banten | en |
