Dampak Kebijakan Ecolabel Uni Eropa terhadap Ekspor Furnitur Indonesia di Pasar Uni Eropa
Abstract
The furniture product is one of the main non-petroleum export commodities along with palm oil, garments, and rubber. As one of the biggest market share of Indonesian wood furniture exports after United States, European Union is considered capable to affect Indonesia’s wooden furniture export. This research aim is to analize the effect of European Union’s Ecolabel policy towards Indonesia’s wooden furniture export in European Union market. This research use Revealed Comparative Advantage, Export Products Dynamics and panel data methods. Results of the research show that the condition of Indonesia’s wooden furniture competitiveness tends to decrease in the competitive position called lost opportunities. Significantly, those factors that affected the value of Indonesia’s wooden furniture export are real GDP of destined country, the value of Rupiah’s real exchange rate, Indonesia’s Consumer Price Index, and the Ecolabel dummy. The economic distance doesn’t significantly affect the furniture export. With the positive effects of Ecolabel policy towards Indonesia’s wooden furniture export
