Research was conducted to determine the energy generated from the utilization of palm oil soild waste in PT. Bahana Karya Semesta, Sarolangun, Jambi Province. Research aimed to determine the amount of fiber and shell factor produced, the amount of fiber and shells are used as fuel for boilers producing electrical energy, investment cost, and efficiency of energy costs. This research uses a cost benefit analysis (financial viability). The electrical energy used by the plant of solid waste palm oil is the amount of energy produced multiplied by the length of time the plant is operating within 1 day which is an average of 13.6 hours. Electricity needs of the plant is 11.084 kWh of electricity generated and the amount of fiber and shell as fuel boiler is 9.033 KWh. Based on the calculations, the value of NPV>0 that is Rp115.860.317.059. Net B/C>1 is 2,5, IRR>12% interest rate is 44% and payback period of 3,9 years. These results demonstrate the utilization of oil palm fiber and shell into electrical energy is feasible. Efficiency of energy costs of utilization of oil palm fiber and shell is Rp902.250.625/month, and efficient use of energy obtained for 81,5%en
