| dc.description.abstract | Cirata Reservoir is one of the major water reservoir in West Java and also function as a hydro power plants. The exploitation of the reservoir brings its own effect for the local economy and also its environment. This research aim for the estimation of the willingness-to-pay value of the floating cage fish-farmer was carried using CVM method, identifies the factors that determine the fish-farmer willingness to pay using logistic regression method, and analyze the economic behavior of the reservoir’s fish-farmer with perception and motive approach method for the willingness-to-pay by the floating cage fish-farmer of the Cirata Reservoir using descriptical analytic method. Based on the research, for the environment condition of the Cirata Reservoir in Cianjur Zone, the farmers also feel its pollution result and realize that the pollution was contributed by the establishment of the floating cage itself. The fish-farmers also experience changes in its fish productivity, resulting in harvest decrease, longer production period, increase of fish death rate, decrease in harvest quality, with the tendency of static diet. The EWTP value of the Cirata Reservoir result is Rp30.321,22. The significant factor that determine the willingness to pay of the farmer for the water quality improvement of the Cirata Reservoir was influenced based on the age, family members, profession duration, income, number of floating cage unit owned, and the bid value offered. The motive that derives the farmer’s willingness to pay is to increase the reservoir’s water quality, and also to increase the fish productivity of the floating cage Fish-Farmers. | en |
