      Abstract
Pondokdadap fishing port has potential for tuna fisheries. In 5 years, Pondokdadap fishing port had produced 1.000 ton/year. This potential must be maintained in order to remain sustainable fisheries. Sustainability fisheries should be seen from ecological, economic, social, technological, and legal dimension. Technological dimension will be able to increase the value of the environmental, social and economic dimension. The purposes of this research were to describe the condition of troll line fisheries in Pondokdadap and to evaluate the sustainability of troll line fisheries in technology aspect. The status of troll line fisheries sustainability was derived by scoring the attributes from technological dimension. Those attributes are trip duration, landing sites, handling on board, vessel size, fishing gear selectivity and changing of fishing gear number. The catches from troll line vessels are yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna, and skipjack. Based on the analysis of length at maturity analysis, there are 164 yellowfin tunas (75.35%) are worth catching and 51 tunas (24.65%) are not, 375 bigeye tunas (70.83%) are worth catching and 153 tunas (29.17%) are not, and also 174 skipjacks (53.87%) are worth catching and 149 skipjacks (46.13%) are not. Tuna that get an organoleptic score of 9 is 498 tunas (46.72%). Sustainability index score for troll lines fisheries in Pondokdadap fishing port is 57.87 which means quite sustainability.
