dc.description.abstractCilala lake that is located at Jampang village, sub-district Kemang, Bogor, West Java has a various functions, such as water catchment area, floating net cages, and irrigation. The purpose of this study was to describe the complexity of communities in the lake at a certain trophic state of Cilala lake. Organisms of Cilala Lake was identified by type and abundance. Trophic state of Cilala lake was determined by Trophic State Index (TSI) using three parameters: Secchi disk depth, total phosphate content, and chlorophyll-a. Description of community complexity consisted autotrophs organisms to carnivorous fish. Trophic state of Cilala lake was classified as eutrophic waters indicated that nutrients was excessive to support the life of aquatic organisms in the lake.en
