Waste from exploration and drilling of petroleum wells and natural gas, if not handled properly, could damage ecosystem and environment, therefore, waste is converted into useful construction material, such paving block, as supporting activities. Paving block with several content of mud waste 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% and 0% comparison of cement: sand: mud waste that is 1:2:2; 1:2,5:1,5; 1:3:1; 1:3,5:0,5; 1:4:0 in weight of 3,02 kg per brick. Paving block with mud content 0% has the highest compressive strength 12 MPa and can be classified wthin The ISO 0691-1996 quality D, designed for park. Paving block with waste content of 10% has 7,26 MPa compressive strength. Paving block with 20% waste content has 3,25 MPa compressive strength. Paving block with 30% waste content has 2,6 MPa compressive strength. Paving block with 40% waste content has 0,9 MPa compressive strength. The high content of mud waste on paving block will affect its strength dua do several factors such as The characteristics of water content and high level of organic matter. Therefore, the addition of other material such as brick, fly ash si needed do increase the strength of the paving blocken
