Peran Pelabuhan Perikanan terhadap Efisiensi Usaha Penangkapan Jaring Cumi di PPI Muara Angke Jakarta

Abstract

PPI Muara Angke is a fishing port which can optimalize its role for squid net fisheries efficiency. Squid net is a leading fishing gear in PPI Muara Angke. The purpose of this research were to determine squid fishermen's income, to identify the factors that influence it, and to determine the role of fishing port in a efficiency of squid net fisheries. The analysis methods that used in this research were calculation of income, multiple linear regression analysis, and likert scale. The result of this research showed that in east monsoon the squid net fishermen's income was Rp. 135.220.966/trip and in west monsoon the fishermen's income was Rp. 11.105.431/trip, the factors that influenced income were operational cost, production, squid price, and fishing vessel size, but the fishing experience was not influence the fishermen's income. The facilities that had role were jetty, fish auction area, fuel station, repair and maintenance facility, and equipment supply stalls. The facilities that lack of role were port basin, the fishing ground information center, and clean water tank.
