Strategi Pembiayaan pada Masyarakat Nelayan dalam Mendukung Usaha Perikanan Tangkap di PPI Muara Angke

Abstract

Fishermen are still experiencing difficulties in getting financing for fishing. It also occurs in PPI Muara Angke which the location is near the capital city of Indonesia. This study was conducted to identify the financing patterns on fishermen and determine the financing strategies that support capture fishery business in PPI Muara Angke. The method that is used is qualitative case study method. Financing pattern is identified by descriptive qualitative method. The results are pattern of own capital plus borrow, assisted by the boss/caterer and assisted by PUMP (Development Business of Mina Rural) program. SWOT analysis is used to determine financing strategies. The strategies are synergy the financing from non formal institution, utilize the strategic value of PPI Muara Angke to support capture fishery business and optimize the involvement of bank through financing program from government (include People Business Loan and PUMP).
