dc.description.abstractEel (Anguilla sp) which is known to have a fairly high content of EPA & DHA, along with has a high economic value was found widely in Indonesian waters. This research aims to determine the level of maintenance, optimal and maximal feeding in the rearing of seed eel. This research was conducted in the Laboratory Physiology of Aquatik Animal, FPIK IPB during 42 day. The research using aquarium 60 x 40 x 30 cm, with a volume of 54 liters of water, the weight seed 1-3 grams / fish and feel 10 fish / aquarium. The research implemented 4 treatments of feeding levels and 3 replications feeding levels consisted of 0%, 7%, 14% and 21% of the biomass. The results show that to produce zero growth (maintenance), optimum and maximum growth, requires a feed level respectively : 3.9%, 7.6% and 10%. SR of each treatment was 90%, the highest feed efficiency, resulting in 7% of feeding level treatment.en
