dc.description.abstractIncreasing construction activity and population growth will indicate the occurrence of agricultural land conversion. This is because the amountof land availablearefixed, whilehuman needscontinue to increaseso that the availability of landwill belimited. As well as increased development in Depok, reducing the land area of 815 hectares of paddy fields in the period 2001 to 2012 with a total rate of depreciation of 0.80 percent. Paddy fields conversion has occurred at the level of the area affected by the building area as well as non-agricultural GDP. While the factors that influence farmers decisions in making the land conversion and land farming experience. The impact of land use change is the loss of 4848.5345 tons of rice production is lost or an average loss of about 449.87 tonnes per year. Meanwhile, the value of lost production amounted to Rp19794138,000 or Rp1799468000 per year. Resulting in a difference between the need for food consumption for rice production which amounted to 384.63 tons / day where the average production of rice by 12.04 tons / day, while consumption amounted to 396.67 tons / dayen
