Economic efficiency is one of the indicators in the implementation of sustainable fisheries. Analysis of the economic efficiency of fishing fleets is of great importance, especially for policy makers in fisheries management based on sustainability. The research was conducted in Pelabuhanratu, West Java. This research examined the focus of the fishing fleet that is kincang ship. The data used are primary and secondary data. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is used to determine the relative efficiency over time (Type I) and between fishing fleet (Type II). For the relative efficiency between vessels used also 2 scenarios that maximizing output and minimizing input. DEA analysis of Type I shows that the most efficient trajectory occurred in 2009 and 2011 by using revenue as output, and in 2008 with production. DEA results include Type II with all inputs and outputs produce 10 DMU efficient, while the DEA with Type II maximizing output produce 1 DMU efficient and minimizing input produce 2 DMU efficienten
