dc.description.abstract | Water is a natural resource that absolutely necessary for human and other live beings, therefore the existence and quality of water resources should be maintained. However, in line with population growth, the need for clean water is also increasing. Taman Sari village is an area that does not flowing PDAM waterways, so that during the dry season the water crisis. Therefore, the government launched the program of water supply pipelines originating from Mount Salak. The purpose of this research were to estimate the willingness to pay (WTP) the Castle Village community as an appreciation of the services of groundwater and the factors that influence, to estimate the willingness to pay (WTP) to obtain the Castle Village community in order to obtain the service of clean water supply and factors that influence it and analyze reliability of the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) in determining the willingness to pay the villagers of the Castle to pay in order to get clean water. Observations and interviews were conducted to the Castle Village community who still use groundwater wells and taken by purposive sampling method. The Result showed that the average value of ground water WTP per household per month was IDR 414.71/m3 per household per month and the factors that affect the value of the significant WTP were age, education level, and the amount of water usage. Whereas, the average value of WTP on water pipes was IDR 575/m3 per household per month as well as the factors that affected the value of the significant WTP were age, income level, number of dependents and the amount of water usage. Reliability test using Cronbach Alpha method to get a value of 0.640, which means reliable. | en |
