The internship program was conducted to improve knowledge, attitude, work skill, experience, to learn the right oil palm harvest management technically, to analyze, and to solve harvest problem at Sei Batang Ulak (SBU) Plantation, PT Ciliandra Perkasa, Kampar, Riau, from February to June 2013. The quality of both the fruit and the harvest area was good with the production loss ratio already below the standard of the plantation. There are some problems in harvesting process, such as quick harvest rotation, percentage of harvest density that was below 15%, low rate of both harvesters absence and usage of self cover. The lack of fruit had caused problems at the field so that it is necessary to improve the plantation management to optimalize the oil palm harvest.en
