| dc.description.abstract | Development of regional economic depends on the condition and potential resources of each region. Central Lombok is one of districts in West Nusa Tenggara which popular as "national food storage area". It shows that the agricultural sector is the main sector that plays an important role in the local economy through the provision of food and creation of employment opportunities. The purpose of this study are to analyze the leading sector in central Lombok and factors that affect economic growth in Central Lombok. This study uses 2 main methods, those are panel data and shift share analysis and location quotient. The data comes from 12 subdistricts in Central Lombok 2008-2010. Results of this study shows that the agricultural sector is not basis sector in Central Lombok. Other results, estimates of factors affecting economic growth in Central Lombok shows that the agricultural GDP and total population have significant effect, while the rice field and amount of labor by the end at high school levels have no significant effect. | en |
