dc.description.abstractDamage Mist Mountain Salak National Park caused by the activities of people who still throw garbage into rivers, illegal logging (illegal logging) in the forest area of Mount Salak area and river basin management that reduce or eliminate the water- absorbing buffer trees to the river and the sand mining activities that have the potential causing landslides. Damage triggered by the presence of land in agricultural activities on marginal lands that should be a water catchment area. Rural communities in Pasawahan, village and village Kutajaya Cisaat directly adjacent to the Mist Mountain Salak National Park (TNGHS) had problems related to the economy, natural resources, and human resources. This problem is in the trigger by limited capacity and skills within communities to manage natural resources. Rural communities in Pasawahan, village and village Cisaat Kutajaya want to create harmony and balance in terms of ecological and environmental economics. People hope there are efforts to preserve the environment and is able to provide enhanced level of real economic Environmental Education Program (PLH) Green School is a proposed education program, conducted and designed for the needs of the community. PLH Green School program is one program that is generated by the proposed agreement by representatives Pasawahan villagers, village Cisaat and village Kutajaya concerned and aware of the efforts to resolve the problems perceived by the public about environmental values and issues of environmental issues. PLH Green School program was accompanied by a facilitator who aims to improve the knowledge, attitudes and skills of the community with community participation. Participatory communication is expected to remove obstacles, especially in terms of information exchange as well as inequalities in the implementation issues underlying this research are: 1) how participatory communication that occurs in PLH Green School Program ? 2) how the relationship between individual characteristics, the credibility of the communicator and institutional support participatory communication PLH Green School Program ? 3) how participatory communication links with behavior change PLH Green School Program ? 4) how does the behavior change with practice participants PLH Green School Program ? The purpose of research is to 1) describe participatory communication in PLH Green School Program, 2) analyze the relationship between individual characteristics, the credibility communicator and institutional support to participatory communication PLH Green School Program; 3) analyze the relationship between participatory communication to behavior change PLH Green School Program; 4) analyze the relationship between changes in behavior and practice PLH Green School Program participants. Analysis of the correlation between the variables of individual characteristics with participatory communication shows that age, education, motivation and ownership of the media is not significantly correlated to the direction of participatory communication is communication, communication and participation channels. Expertise and attractiveness facilitators have highly significant relationship at p<0.01 by way of communication, but not significantly correlated in the channels of communication and participation. Familiarity variables significantly correlated at p<0.05 in the channels of communication and participation. Honesty variables not significantly correlated with the direction of the communication, the channel and the level of participation. Correlation between the direction of the communication facilitator expertise in implementing PLH Green School program received. Capital, land, seeds, distribution of institutional support given by no real connection between the participatory communication on the implementation of PLH Green School program. Way communication on the implementation of the Green School program PLH highly significantly correlated at p<0.01 with the change of knowledge and change attitudes PLH Green School Program participants. Channels of communication on the implementation of the Green School program related PLH very real at p<0.01 with changes in knowledge, change attitudes and skills of the participants change. Behavioral changes in the implementation of PLH Green School program which includes changes in knowledge, change attitudes and skills related to very real changes at p<0.01 with the practice of PLH Green School program participants.en
