Safety works in any workplace including in the workshop should be noted to reduce the risk of accidents as low as possible. The purpose of this research to clearly identify the types of hazards in fiberglass boat building activities, and make an analysis of the potential safety hazards in fiberglass boat manufacturing activity. Identification of safety was obtained through job safety analysis method. Grouping based on the level of potential hazards consequences were harmless (work pending), mild (scratched, itching), medium (punctured, skin irritation), severe (cut, hit by boat), and fatal (electric shock). Control efforts was undertaken procurement the personal protective equipment which fairly complete and in a good condition, but there is still no awareness of workers to use appropriate PPE work. Identification of the process of making fiberglass boat showed that construction of the framework was the most risky phase. Risk levels vary from mild to fatal that might eliminate a person's life. Safety analysis showed that the process of making fiberglass boat has a high level of risk in terms of safety.
