dc.description.abstractRedenomination is a simplification of currency into smaller fragments by reducing digit number (zero) without reducing the value of the currency. Therefore, the expected purchasing power has not changed. This research was conducted to see the effect that the result of the redenomination policy. The data used are primary data obtained from experimental economics. Analysis tools used in this study is the t-test and descriptive analysis. Redenomination policy tends to lower the value of transactions for goods elastic at low growth. This was caused by the price tends to decrease. While at the time of high growth, redenomination policy tends to increase the value of the transaction. This was caused by the price tends to increase.en
