dc.description.abstractEmployment programs abroad provide a positive impact on the State, increase the amount of remittances and foreign exchange. International migration through remittances can reduce poverty, however poverty can also influence a person to undertake international migration. This study was conducted to analyze factors that influence women's decision to migrate internationally with binary logistic regression approach, while to analyze the utilization of remittances and their implications for poverty using descriptive methods. This study used primary data of 100 women of working age at Pabuaran village, Pabuaran district, Subang regency. The results showed that age, marital status, education level, income in the region of origin and the bureaucracy affect women of working age for international migration. Most of women worker did not use remittances towards productive economy because potensial saving is low. Potential remittance reduce poverty relatively small.en
