Analisis Pemanen Hujan dari Atap Bangunan SD Negeri Mulyasari di Desa Pulosari, Kecamatan Pangalengan, Kabupaten Bandung
Abstract
Humans from the beginning has realized the importance of water for them and for the environment, because water is an essential natural resource that is needed by humans and other living things. Problems that are often encountered in Indonesia now a days is the presence of areas experiencing drought during the dry season, therefore clean water is scarce. The Average annual rainfall which is quite high in the area of pangalengan is uselles if it could not be used optimally. One of the way to do the rain harvesting is by collecting rainwater through the roof and stores it in a water tank. The roofing rain harvesting was carried out at SDN Mulyasari Pulosari village, Pangalengan district, Bandung regency. Based on the precipitation data in the Pangalengan region, it can be seen that Pulosari village has rain almost throughout the year with the different variations of rain annually. The precipitation data used in this study is downscaling data from Global Climate Model (GCM) for Citarum River Basin for the period 1981 to 2010. Based on the number of the people to be served, water needs in SDN Mulyasri is 10.770 liter/week (6 days). The calculation of rainfall tank volume was done by trial and error from the result of water balance calculation. Results calculation of the optimum capacity were 10.850 liters. A construction budget was needed to make water the tank. From the analysis of the budget expenses, it costs Rp 57.000.000 to make a tub with 10850 litres capacity.
