Estimasi Nilai Kerugian Ekonomi Masyarakat Akibat Kerusakan Situ (Kasus Pemukiman Sekitar Situ Pladen, Kelurahan Beji, Kota Depok)

Abstract

Pladen Lake which is located in Beji Village, Beji Subdistrict, Depok City is one of lakes that has damage. This damage not only causes decline of use and non-use value of the lake, but also affects the prosperity of society around the lake. Those people suffered economic losses due to pladen lake flood. The main purpose of this study was to estimate the economic losses due to Pladen Lake damage. In line with this purpose, it was necessary to know the socio-economic characteristics of the community, the public perceptions about the lake damage, and programs that have been implemented by Government of Depok City to control Pladen Lake damage. This study used descriptive analysis, friedman test, and economic valuation methods. The total economic losses caused by flood in 2013 was Rp 92 956 229.23. Total prevention costs of society in the past 10 years was Rp 1 640 325 566.81. These economic losses of society indicated the damage impact values of Pladen Lake ecosystem. Therefore, it is important to manage pladen lake sustainable to reduce the impacts of such damage
