Analisis Keterkaiitan Inklusi Keuangan dengan Pembangunan di Asia
Abstract
Financial inclusion recently has become the main focus of development in financial sector in various country. People can access financial services easily by inclusiveness in financial system. Despite economic growth has positive trend in Asia, there are Asian population who could not access financial services. Financial inclusion can be measured by Index of Financial Inclusion that has been developed by Sarma (2008). This paper observe eigth countries in Asia from 2004-2011. Japan and South Korea are the country that has the highest index of financial inclusion that is 0.9 and 0.5 respectively, while Pakistan that has the lowest index that is 0.1. Thus, financial system in Japan and South Korea more inclusive than other countries. This study uses Tobit Regression to determine development idicators that influence index of financial inclusion. The result is GDP per capita and rural population influnce index of financial inclusion. While unemployment doesn’t affect financial inclusion
