Rhizophora sp. is one species of mangrove which has many functions including cosmetic herbal, one of which is as inhibitor of tyrosinase enzyme to heal hyperpigmentation and melanosis in human skin. The aim of this study is to determine fingerprint of Rhizophora sp. from Lampung and Makassar to be utilized as control and stability of herbal plants. Selection of the best mobile phase is an important step in components separation. Chloroform was the best eluent selected which resulted 5 spots in Rf range of 0.04–0.74. Makassar’s R. apiculata bark extract was potential as tyrosinase inhibitor for monophenolase with 50% inhibition concentration (IC50) of 968.83 μg/mL, whereas extract having the best antioxidant activity was Makassar’s R. apiculata leaves extract with IC50 value of 5.09 μg/mL.en
