Curcuma zedoaria, known as temu putih in Indonesia is widely used as medicinal plant to treat some diseases and has been reported to have antimicrobial and antioxidant activities. For quality control of C. zedoaria, an attempt on fingerprint study was developed in this work. This study was aimed to determine the optimum condition of high performance liquid chromatography mobile phase for the fingerprint analysis of C. zedoaria collected from 3 different places, namely Cipaku, Cimanggu, and Dramaga and determine the antioxidant activities. The best eluent composition obtained was trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) 0.10% (A) and acetonitrile (B) by gradient elution method. The gradient program was started at 90% A:10% B, changed to 80% A:20% B in 12 minutes, and then to 40% A:60% B in 38 minutes, before finally brought back to the initial conditions in 10 minutes and held constant for 5 minutes. The mobile phase flow rate used was 1 mL·min-1. The highest inhibitory activity of 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl stable radical was shown by the C. zedoaria extract collected from Dramaga with 50% inhibition concentration value of 182.01 μg·mL-1en
