Indeks Kenyamanan dan Tingkat Konsumsi Energi Listrik di Rumah Sakit Azra, Bogor
Abstract
Indoor air comfort is affected by temperature, relative humidity, lighting, and noise. This study aimed to determine comfort index and its relationship with electrical energy consumption at Azra Hospital, Bogor. Measurement was done in rooms which represented different function or units. The temperature and RH measurement were conducted using thermometer (dry and wet bulb) and psychrometric chart. Light intensity measurement refers to SNI 16-7062-2004 about Light Instensity Measurement at Workplace whereas noise level measurement refers to KEP-48/MENLH/11/1996 about Noise Level Standard. Another related regulation is Kep. Men. Kes. RI No. 1204/MENKES/SK/X/2004 about Health Regulation of Hospital Environment. The result of study shows that only dental clinic and High Care Unit (HCU) that complies with regulation, meanwhile according Temperature Humidity Index there are 23 rooms that can be classified in comfort category. The rooms that has light intensity complied with regulations are CT Scan, radiology, kitchen, and lobby toilet. The rooms that has noise level complied with regulation are kitchen, laundry, and dental clinic. Electrical energy consumption for air conditioning of four different care rooms is 7.32 kW. Energy management should be improved at rooms that does’t comply with regulations.
