The experiment was conducted at farmer’s rice field in Jabong (the district of Subang), from November 2012 to February 2013. The objective of this research was to study effects of high water lodging on growth and yield of lowland rice. The experiment was arranged in completely randomized block design single factor with three replications. The treatments was high water lodging, consist of : (a) high water lodging 0 cm; (b) high water lodging 2.5 cm above soil surface; (c) high water lodging -2.5 cm above soil surface. Results showed that high water lodging 0, 2.5, -2.5 cm did not decrease the plant height, number of tiller per hill, as well as grain yield and overall yield components. Therefore, high water lodging -2.5 cm could be executed at the lowland rice cultivation.en
