Machinery has helped human work but also generate mechanical vibration. Mechanical vibration has disturbed human performance. This research analyzed effect of mechanical vibration to human in laboratory. Simulator was designed based on mechanical concept. It vibrates at frequency below 50 Hz and acceleration between 1 m/sc2 and 10 m/sc2, like vibration in sugar cane factory. Objective of this paper is analyzing effect of mechanical vibration to exhausted, energy, response time, and human discomfort at some levels of vibration accelerations. Simulator has produced vibration in six levels of acceleration. Fourteen subjects participated in this simulation. Human exhausted was measured by flicker test, working energy based on human heart rate, discomfort based on respondent questioner, and response time based on response time simulation. On this research, WBV didn’t have significant effect on human exhausted. Curve of working energy and response time have the similar shapes, increased as polynomial pattern as increased of acceleration simulation. Longer stimulus time and higher working energy happened at acceleration 1.5 m/sc2 – 4.5 m/sc2. Graph of discomfort had power curve shape, because discomfort was subjective judgment which involved human sensor. Effect of vibration on horizontal direction is higher from vertical direction on working energy, response time, and discomfort of human.
