Population is increasing, on the other hand the availability of natural resources remains the same, hence, it is necessary to use advanced technology to increase productivity and to use natural resources properly for the prosperity of human beings. But this could also give negative impacts to the environment. Egoism and moral crisis are considered as factors which cause the environment destruction. This situation needs to be overcome through strategic way to young generation on character building which is integrated in the curriculum. The Go Green School Model (GGS) curriculum design of Tarakanita is based on the Education Unit Level Curriculum (EULC). System approach is used for designing the ideal mode is based on the 8 criteria of National Education Standards as stipulated in the Government Bylaws No. 19 in 2005. The performance of the model is then compared to currently-used curriculum and validated to the pre-determined sample of fourth-grade elementary students for one semester. The result shows that the understanding and creativity ( factors of environmental content) of the students treated using the curriculum of GGS tend to be higher than that of the students treated using the Education Unit Level Curriculum . To shift from the Education Unit Level Curriculum Curriculum to the GGS curriculum needs a linking step that is the Teaching Unit Curriculum Plus (EULC +).en
