Tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) is one of the important vegetable in Indonesia. This research was conducted to study the performance of yield and to get information about horticultural characteristic of some tomato genotypes in Bogor Agricultural University Experimental Field Tajur, Bogor. The experiment was arranged using Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with genotypes as a single factor. Plant materials were 15 genotypes of tomato and one comercial hybrid (Permata) as a control variety. The result showed there were phenotypic variability among genotypes were evaluated in both quantitative and qualitative characters. Plant height range from 55.01-106.48 cm, days to flowering from 20-31 days, days of harvesting from 54-70 days, fruitset from 66.21-95.02%, fruit weight per plant from 1-2 kg and fruit weight from 20.55-59.05 g. Potential productivity of PHT 7, PHT 11, PHT 12, PHT 13 and PHT 15 were higher 40 ton ha-1, therefore that genotypes have high potential for commercial varieties and proceed to multi-location trial. Heritability (high and medium) among observed characters indicated that genetic factors give more contribute in determining the phenotypic variability of plant.en
