Elaeidobius kamerunicus is one of the weevil pollinator of oil palm. Weevil pollinator, E. kamerunicus in plantation is useful to increase fruit set. Continuity of the oil palm pollination require minimal amount of the weevil. This study addressed to know population dynamics of the weevil and environmental factors that affected the weevil population. Weevil population was observed in male flower of oil palm plants of six years after planting. Weevil population was observed by sampling method in male flowers spikelet in May, July, and October 2009. Relationship between environment factors and weevil population was analyzed by principal component analysis (PCA). A result showed that population of the weevil was highest in October. The weevil populations related to bunch size and weevil populations found highly in the morning. Air temperature, relative humidity, and light intensity did not significantly affect to the weevil population.en
