The aim of this research is studied about methode and temperature effect to phase and size of titanium dioxide (TiO2) crystal. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) crystal was synthesized by hydrothermal method with mixed of TiO2 powder (Rutile, Merck) and strong of natrium hidroxide (NaOH) in hydrothermal container at 180 °C for 48 h. After synthesized, one sample made without calcination (a) and two samples other were calcinated at 500 °C (b) and 800 °C for 2 h (c). The morphologies of crystals were analyzed using X-ray diffraction and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Crystal without calcination (a) was obtained with avarage size crystal about 0,147 nm and cristalinity was resulted about 37,84 %, this crystal was amorphous thus hadn’t formed into anatase or rutil phase yet. In second treatment (b), crystal was obtained with average size about 34,507 nm, crystal was formed into anatase phase and it had crystalinity about 70,38 %. In third treatment (c), crystal was more homogen with average size about 45,168 nm and crystalinity was resulted about 90,47 %. Crystal (c) was becomes unstable and transformed from anatase into rutile phase
