      Abstract
      The mostly of fishery ship operated in Indonesia has builded with traditional ways, where in building process of the ship didn’t using plan of design and construction as well as naval architect calculation. Institution that have the power to be competent to decide things about ship building in Indonesia is Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia. This institution will give the sea reasonable certificate for the ship that have design and construction appropriated with regulation of Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia. Mostly fishery ship in Indonesia has builded without monitoring from Biro Klasifikasi Indonesia, with the result that the mostly fishery ship in Indonesia don’t have the sea reasonable certificate from BKI. Until today there is no research about design and construction of squidjigg in Muara Baru. This research include of designing and constructioning of squidjigg KM. Cahaya Alam Tiga, calculate of hydrostatic parameter of KM. Cahaya Alam Tiga and compare the size construction between size construction KM. Cahaya Alam Tiga with size construction from BKI. Method that used in research is case study with analysis of numeric description. The result of the research was KM. Cahaya Alam Tiga have two type of ship body. For the first that is “V” bottom for ahead area of ship and round flat bottom in midship area until stern area of ship. Based on turn value of mostly ship design for static gear, design of KM. Cahaya Alam Tiga is already appropriate with ship design for static gear in Indonesia. Suitability value between size construction of KM. Cahaya Alam Tiga with size construction of BKI is 63,16 %.
