dc.description.abstractWestern outlet of Segara Anakan Lagoon is located at the southern coast of Central Java, where high sedimentation rate originated from Citanduy River take place. Observation and model approached was used to reach the aim. The properties of tides, current, salinity, temperature, bed sediment and Total Suspended Solid (TSS) were measured to understand the hydrodynamics of western outlet waters. A two-dimensional hydrodynamic model was coupled with two-dimensional transport model for TSS. The model was validated using hourly measured data of surface currents, elevation, and TSS during 26-28, June 2010. The results showed that model matched with measured data. Comparation of the model and observation have statistically error of currents pattern (RMSE 0,1037 m/s and NRMSE 20,1363%); elevation (RMSE 0,1405 m and NRMSE 11,2415%), and TSS concentration (RMSE 0,0439 kg/m3 dan NRMSE 15,0781%). TSS loaded to The Indian Ocean was 20.8777 kg/s and flux 0.0139 kg/m2/s.en
