      Abstract
      Perkembangan sapi perah menghadapi kelangkaan pakan akibat penyempitan lahan pertanian dan penurunan respons kekebalan akibat defisensi mineral. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengkaji pengaruh selenoproteinat pada produksi susu dan respons kekebalan pada berbagai kondisi pemberian pakan. Ransum Kontrol (K) merupakan ransum standar yang mengandung 65 % TDN dan 13% PK, Se = K + 2.5 mglkg selenoproteinat, SeF = ransurn perbaikan yang mengandung 67%TDN, 14 % PK, 3 % hidrolisat bulu ayarn dan 2.5 mglkg selenoproteinat, SeFU = SeF + 0.7 % urea, dan SeFUZn = SeFU + 10 g/kg Zn-lisinat. Dari percobaan In vifro memperlihatkan bahwa suplementasi selenoproteinat, pada ransum K meningkatkan kecemaan bahan kering (5 1.4 vs 59.6%)
       
      Dairying is impeded by feed shortage due to the decline in agricultural land and the lack of immune respones associated with mineral deficiencies. This experiment was designed to test the efficacy of yeast selenoprotein in promoting milk production and immune response under five dietary regiments.
