dc.description.abstractThe major threats to Indonesia flora species richness are the loss of habitat illegal logging, forest fires, deforestation and ecosystem degradation, as well as overexploitation. Samhadi (2007) noted that the highest forest degradation rate ever achieves 2.8 million hectares per year. The utilization of forested area, however has disturb the balancing of flora ecosystem and affecting the richness as well as evenness of flora species.en
dc.description.abstractHilangnya habitat tumbuhan, kegiatan pembalakan liar (illegal logging), kebakaran, maupun over-exploitasi hutan merupakan penyebab utama berkurangnya kekayaan jenis tumbuhan di Indonesia. Tingginya tingkat kerusakan hutan yang mencapai 2,8 juta hektar per tahunnya (Samhadi, 2007); menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pemanfaatan hutan secara langsung telah mengganggu keseimbangan ekosistem tumbuhan dan memberikan pengaruh terhadap kekayaan dan keberadaan jenis tumbuhan.
