dc.description.abstractThis intenship was held in Nasional Sago Prima company, Selat Panjang, Riau from February to June 2011. The Method are direct for getting primary dara and indirect for secondary data. Secondary data takes from technique activity in tthe field and the research. The experiment was conducted to get more information on the effect sucker weight and time after nusery to to sucker growth in plantation are. The treatment will be tested sucker growth with the different weight and age of sucker in raft nursery system. The first treatment on sucker 2-4 kg (BI) and 4-8 kg (B2), teh second treatment on sucker is 2 weeks after nussery (P1), 4 weeks (P2), 8 weeka (P3) and 12 weeks (P4), the result shown treatment on 2-4 kg (B1) is better than nursey was significant different in presentation survival rate bt in vegatative growth haven't significantly difference. The sucker 123 weeks after nursery was the best sucker age to the vegetative growth of suckers.en
