| dc.description.abstract | The potentially-resources of capture fishery in Ternate is a considered superior commodity for fishermen as it has a mechanism of directive marketing, effective and efficient of distribution between neighboring-area which it would turn of a considerable-gain. The potential resources of capture fishery bring importance to development of social and economical in Ternate. Generally, this is turn in the next for the society as a whole, and specifically for the fishermen, to gain the social and economical significance relate to equity, growth, and sustainability. This study aims to assess the potential resources of fisheries in term of following matters: small pelagic fish in Ternate associated with determination of technical factors into sustainable yields, the influence of fishing gear used to impact of its potential, and also the production gained from its supporting factors. In this study, it was also looked for the feasibility of the fishing gear which can be concluded and then be developed to increase the fishermen income. This study is especially useful in providing data and information for the government to prepare the management strategies in fisheries potency and the production factors also for feasibility of the fishing effort in Ternate. | en |
