The composition of elements in blood is presumed to be correlated with hypertension. In this research, elements in hypertension and non-hypertension of packed blood cells were analyzed using neutron activation analysis (NAA) method. The qualitative analysis detected 34 elements in hypertension packed blood cells and 38 elements in nonhypertension blood cells. However, only 9 elements from those suitable to be reported quantitatively based on errors below 10%, i.e. Na, Cl, K, Br, Zn, Rb, Co, Fe, and Cs. The concentration of those elements in hypertension packed blood cells were 5665.87; 6460.70; 6630.71; 11.85; 29.78; 27.79; 0.56; 2522.50; dan 0.33 mg/kg, respectively. Meanwhile, the concentration of those elements in non-hypertension packed blood cells were 4615.37; 6677.14; 6657.36; 11.53; 26.87; 27.43; 0.34; 18440.4; dan 0.18 mg/kg, respectively. The result of binary logistic regression showed that Co and Cs have positive relation with hypertension. Conversely, Fe has negative relation.en
