      Abstract
      The general purpose of this study was to improve the plywood industry performance through eco-efficiency implementation. The specific purposes of this study were (1) to describe existing condition of plywood industry performance; (2) to analyze eco-efficiency implementation based on the technical and managerial indicators; (3) to analyze plywood industry performance technically through wood balance and the utilization of wood processing wastes; and (4) to develop performance improvement strategy through eco-efficiency approach. There were 13 plywood producer companies analyzed through analytic tools comprised of cut off, criterium decision plus ver. 3.0, life cycle assessment, IFE-EFE matrix, wild-wood balancing program package, query method, non numeric method for pairwise fuzzy group decision analysis, financial analysis, quickscan matrix, and eco-efficiency information system program package.
