Di daerah tropis, temperatur merupakan salah satu faktor penghambat terjadinya pembentukan buah yang mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil. Beberapa spesies tanaman mempunyai kemampuan untuk membentuk buah tanpa terjadi penyerbuan dan pembuahan.en
dc.description.abstractTomato production affected by abiotic factor such as temperature. In the tropics, high temperature inhibit fruit formation and decreasing tomato production. Some species have ability to get fruit without pollination and fertilization (parthenocarpic fruit). Formation of partenocarpic fruit could increase fruit production and quality, but natural parthenocarpy not ensure the stability of the production.en
