Abstract
There are many factors influencing individual consumption pattern, one of them is the increasing of activity so that people can’t plan and evaluate their food intake neither quantitatively nor qualitatively. The phenomenon attracks the food and pharmaceutical industries to produce food supplement products. Today’s food supplement has become an important part to support human daily activity, either in developed countries or in developing countries. One of the food supplement is claimed that it could improve blood circulation and nutrient utilization in brain. Many industries claimed that the product is beneficial to improve memory and concentration of the consumers. Banyak factor yang mempengaruhi pola konsumsi seseorang, salah satunya adalah kesibukan yang terus meningkat, sehingga seseorang tidak sempat untuk merencanakan dan menilai asupan pangan, baik dari segi jumlah maupun mutu pangan yang dikonsumsi. Fenomena tersebut menghadirkan industry pangan dan farmasi, serta industry jamu untuk menyediakan produk berupa suplemen makanan.
