dc.description.abstract | This research was located in South Morotai and South-West Morotai District. The objectives of this researchis to study carrying capacity and to establish model concept management small islands for ecotourisms sustainable used. Data and information were collected in participative term by used a questioner and field survey. Analysis methods consist of spatial analysis used geographycal information system and suitable area analysis, for modelling used software Stella 9,02. The small island areas zonation using ecology, economic, social and institution criterias could be divided into 3 management zones such as the center zone with of 1618 ha, used zone with widely of 12.412 ha, and buffer zone with widely of 32.381 ha. Whereas suitable area for ecotourism zone consist of coastal ecotourism for recreation tourism categories, marine ecotourism categories for snorcling tourism, marine ecotourism categories for diving tourism, marine ecotourism category for seagrass. Shore longs of recreation tourism 59.809 m with of carrying capacity is 2.353 person/day, snorcling tourism with widely area used 226 ha with percentage rate of coral cover community 42 % with of carrying capacity 7.624 person/day, diving tourism with widely area 1.248 ha with percentage rate of coral cover community 40% with of carrying capacity 39.942 person/day, seagrass tourism with widely area used 102 ha with percentage rate of seagrass cover 58 % with of carrying capacity 4.733 person/day. Management model KP2K MS2B for ecotourism sustainability base on environmental conservation of ecologycal small island with the primary point were archipelago small island, integration in percentage pattern of the diversity used rate and the naturalism of island, if the invironmental ecological was disturbed, it will influence the sustainability of carrying capacity and the ecotourisms demand will affected too. | id |
