      Abstract
MUHAMAD RAMADITYA RIZKY ANUGRAH.

MUHAMAD RAMADITYA RIZKY ANUGRAH. Fishing Supplies of Handline Fishing Vessels Based at Palabuhanratu National Fishing Port. Supervised by DWI PUTRA YUWANDANA and MUHAMMAD FEDI ALFIADI SONDITA. Handline fishing vessels based at Palabuhanratu National Fishing Port do not yet have a fixed reference for determining supplies per trip. The amount of fuel, lubricants, clean water, and food provisions is still determined based on vessel managers’ experience, safety margins, and expected operating conditions. This study aimed to describe vessel characteristics, explain the planning mode of fishing supplies, estimate supply requirements, and compare actual supplies with theoretical requirements. The study was conducted from October to November 2025 at Palabuhanratu National Fishing Port. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review on 17 sample vessels and analyzed using descriptive comparative analysis. The vessels ranged from 6 to 88 GT, had 4 to 13 crew members, and used engines of 180 to 350 HP. The results showed that actual fuel exceeded theoretical requirements by 39.54 tons or 10.05%, with 64.71% of vessels carrying excess fuel. In contrast, actual lubricants were lower by 40 liters or 0.85%, and clean water was lower by 144 tons or 49.48%. Food provisions were diverse, but vegetables and fruits remained limited during fishing trips. Regular trip-based supply records are needed to reduce excessive costs, vessel load, and the risk of supply shortages.
