| dc.description.abstract | Padi (Oryza sativa L.) merupakan komoditas pangan utama di Indonesia yang berperan penting dalam mewujudkan ketahanan pangan nasional. Pengembangan varietas unggul menjadi salah satu strategi utama untuk meningkatkan produktivitas padi. Upaya tersebut dapat dicapai dengan memanfaatkan keragaman genetik sebagai sumber variasi dalam program pemuliaan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi dan menguji keragaan galur-galur generasi F4 yang memiliki karakter agronomi dan potensi hasil yang baik. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Sawah Baru, Desa Babakan, Kecamatan Dramaga, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat pada rentang bulan Januari – Juni 2026 dengan menggunakan 79 galur uji dan lima varietas pembanding dengan rancangan augmented. Data karakter agronomi dan komponen hasil dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam, korelasi Pearson, dan Principal Component Analysis (PCA) untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antar karakter serta karakter utama penentu keragaman genotipe. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat galur yang memiliki karakter agronomi dan komponen hasil lebih baik dibandingkan varietas pembanding. Galur yang berpotensi memiliki karakter agronomi dan komponen hasil tinggi yaitu IPB235-D-18, IPB235-D-26, dan IPB235-D-33. Galur-galur tersebut memiliki bobot gabah per rumpun berturut-turut sebesar 89,5 g, 76,1 g, dan 74,5 g, sementara varietas pembanding meliputi Inpari 32 (47,1 g), Inpari Nutrizinc (40,2 g), IPB 9G (55,3 g), IPB 13S (55,0 g), dan IPB 15S (51,2 g). | |
| dc.description.abstract | Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is the primary staple food crop in Indonesia and plays a crucial role in ensuring national food security. The development of superior varieties is one of the main strategies for increasing rice productivity. This effort can be achieved by utilizing genetic diversity as a source of variation in plant breeding programs. This study aimed to evaluate the performance of F4 generation lines based on their agronomic traits and yield potential. The research was conducted at the Sawah Baru Experimental Farm, Babakan Village, Dramaga District, Bogor Regency, West Java, from January to June 2026, using 79 test lines and five check varieties in an augmented design. Data on agronomic traits and yield components were analyzed using analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis, and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to identify relationships among traits and the major traits contributing to genotypic variation. The results showed that several lines exhibited superior agronomic traits and yield components compared with the check varieties. The promising lines with high agronomic performance and yield potential were IPB235-D-18, IPB235-D-26, and IPB235-D-33. These lines had grain weights per hill of 89,5 g, 76,1 g, and 74,5 g, respectively, whereas the check varieties had grain weights per hill are Inpari 32 (47,1 g), Inpari Nutrizinc (40,2 g), IPB 9G (55,3 g), IPB 13S (55,0 g), and IPB 15S (51,2 g). | |
