| dc.description.abstract | Fly ash dan bottom ash (FABA) merupakan limbah hasil pembakaran batu bara yang berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai campuran media tanam. Produksi FABA terus meningkat seiring meningkatnya penggunaan batu bara sebagai sumber energi, sehingga diperlukan pemanfaatannya untuk meningkatkan nilai guna sekaligus mengurangi dampak lingkungan. FABA mengandung unsur hara makro dan mikro yang berpotensi mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis performa pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman sayuran kangkung, bayam, dan pakcoy pada beberapa campuran media tanam FABA. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) satu faktor pada tiga jenis tanaman sayuran, yaitu kangkung, bayam, dan pakcoy. Masing-masing tanaman diberi empat taraf perlakuan campuran media tanam yang sama dengan tiga ulangan untuk setiap jenis tanaman yang diuji. Parameter yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, luas daun, bobot segar, dan kandungan logam berat tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan M1 (0,05 kg FABA + 0,2 kg pupuk kandang sapi + 1,75 kg tanah) menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan produksi terbaik pada ketiga tanaman yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, luas daun, dan bobot segar. Analisis logam berat menunjukkan kandungan Pb, Cd, Cr, dan As berada di bawah batas deteksi alat sehingga FABA berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai campuran media tanam sayuran daun. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Fly ash and bottom ash (FABA) are coal combustion by products with potential as a growing media component. FABA production continues to increase with the growing use of coal as an energy source, highlighting the need to enhance its utilization while reducing environmental impacts. FABA contains macro and micro nutrients that support plant growth. This study aimed to analyze the growth and yield performance of water spinach, spinach, and pakcoy grown in FABA based growing media mixtures. The experiment used a single factor Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) on three leafy vegetable crops, namely water spinach, spinach, and pakcoy. Each crop received the same four growing media treatments with three replications. The observed parameters included plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf area, fresh weight, and heavy metal content. Treatment M1 (0,05 kg FABA + 0,2 kg cattle manure + 1,75 kg soil) produced the best growth and yield performance in all three crops, as indicated by greater plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf area, and fresh weight. Heavy metal analysis showed that Pb, Cd, Cr, and As concentrations were below the detection limits of the analytical instrument, indicating that FABA has potential as a growing media component for leafy vegetable cultivation. | |
